celebrating the gift of embodied faith
Holly Lynne Smith (M.A., B.A., Wheaton College) is a writer and printmaker with an academic background in biblical exegesis, ancient languages, archaeology, and theology. Her work celebrates the gift of embodied faith—drawing connections between material culture, spiritual virtue, mental health, and human community, then following these connections through to their implications for practical discipleship.
Holly was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, where she now lives with her husband Chris and three young sons. Aside from writing and printmaking, Holly also enjoys thrifting, DIYing, and spending time outside. You can find her on Substack, Etsy, and Instagram.
Holly welcomes opportunities to speak at virtual or in-person events, as well as on podcasts or radio shows. She also enjoys leading in-person linocut workshops, where guests have the opportunity to create their own original prints. Reach out using the form below for details.

Holly creates her prints using the linocut method. First she carves an image into a linoleum or rubber block (or multiple blocks for layered images), then presses the inked block(s) onto paper. Once a block has been carved it can be used to create as many prints as desired.
Interested in commissioning Holly to create a custom print or print series, or in inviting her to lead an in-person linocut workshop where guests will have the opportunity to create their own custom prints? Holly would love to chat. Inquire using the contact form below.
